Joseph has worked with pianos since he was 18 years old, training and working as a tuner and technician for 10 years before establishing Taylor Pianos in 2008 with his wife Beck.

Joseph is a highly experienced and qualified craftsman having furthered his skills attending training with the PTA, by attending courses in Germany with the  manufacturer Renner and by working alongside leading concert tuners and technicians within the profession. He is a member of the Piano Tuners Association, is a Renner Trained Technician and member of the Institute of Musical Instrument Technology, currently serving as a council member.
